  19. This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB)
  20. for use with network management protocols in TCP/IP-based internets.
  21. In particular, it defines objects for managing remote network
  22. monitoring devices.  This document was produced by the IETF Remote
  23. Network Monitoring Working Group.

  25. This RFC specifies an IAB Proposed Standard Protocol for the Internet
  26. community, and requests discussion and suggestions for improvements.
  27. Please refer to the current edition of the "IAB Official Protocol
  28. Standards" for the standardization state and status of this protocol.
